8 presentation tools you have to know about.

Lately, I have been noticing more and more how the world of presenting is strongly innovating. After the introduction of Prezi in 2009, even more new presentation tools have appeared on the market. Now, nine years along the line, lots of new tools have been introduced that provide us with the possibility to communicate with our audience in a new, innovative way. A popular way of presenting that especially speaks to me, is ‘Conversation Presenting’. This is where presenting in 2018 and the future is aiming for. The conversation topic will be determined by the audience as well, which will create a relaxed vibe in the room with a natural dialogue. Where we were used to think about presentations from slide to slide, we are now able to communicate with our audience innovatively through our presentations. Each tool is therefore innovative in a different way. All of them support you during the creation of your presentation and take on important elements in your presentations. We have list the most important tools for you.

Good to know...

There is a little extra that we would like to share with you. Before we completely abandon PowerPoint due to a lack of innovation, we have to admit that this tool, too, is developing itself. Besides all these innovative presentation tools, PowerPoint itself has also added a new function to the original tool: PowerPoint Morph. This is a special tool for PowerPoint transitions. This allows you to create an action that is balanced and can create transitions between slides without having to change individual elements. This allows you to add a fluent finish to your presentation.

PROS:

  • Effects that breathe life into a presentation
  • Create depth and movement
  • Easy to work with

CONS:

  • Little influence on how the pages change
